Walk of Witness

The annual Walk Of Witness on Good Friday is a large community event in which the main A41 Soho Road and Holyhead Road are closed to allow a procession of around 1,000 people from more than 16 local churches, to celebrate the events of Jesus’ death and resurrection. It includes singing and an explanation of the Christian faith given in several languages.

We gather at 12.30pm to commence the walk from Beacon Evangelical Church at 1pm, proceeding along Sandwell Road and then down Soho Road, finishing at the Department for Work & Pensions, Temple Row House, 25-45 Soho Rd, Birmingham B21 9SL at about 2.30pm.
